The 2nd annual Tarbabe Summer Reunion will be held at the Palace Station Hotel & Casino the weekend of July 23rd.  We will again have a 3 entree buffet dinner, lots of side salads, fresh fruits and cheeses and an open bar.  Dancing to a great deejay.  Tickets are $80.00 a person if purchased before June 15th.  Afterwards they go up to $95.00. Only a few tickets will be sold at the door. -- Rooms are $69.00 tower/$59.00 courtyard for both nights. Hello Rafael,  Your comment on how ghetto Compton: Compton is a hub city which was made up of all whites  until about 1968 shortly after the Watts riot and was predominatly black and now it is composed of Blacks, Mexicans and still Soamonian. Neverless the make up is really insignificant, unless you have lived in Compton you remain clueless. Compton had one of the first black mayors on the west coast.  His name was Dollarhide. He brought pride, respect and love in a community where the community was united with an array of goals  and objectives.  What a wonderful College , thats right Compton Community College which  has an excellent reputation of former students who transferred to different Universities.  The media plays a psychological game to claim Compton as the Ghetto or the number 1 crime city in the United States if you belief that then check out Harlem, Detroit, Cleveland, Houston, Chicago , and parts of FLORIDA  just to name a few travel the world and find out what exactly is meant  by GHETTO.   Ghetto is a state of mind to keep young people poor which means PASSING OVER OPPORTUNITES REPEATLY.  Keeps you uneducated and underachieved.  Pass the word to Florida's community, if you really studied sociology then you would know by design any time you have successful BLACKS in GOVERNMENT ALL OF A SUDDEN IT IS A BIG GHETTO. WE ARE A SCHOOL A COMMUNITY THAT LOVE OUR CITY LETS KEEP IT LIFTED UP IN SPIRIT AND FAITH>
